Farmland Ecosystem Assessment Support Tool

• Biodiversity monitoring: Add, import and manage biodiversity monitoring data and spatially visualise it on a map. 

  
  
• Performance assessment: Assess the performance of landscape features or whole landscapes for habitat suitability for a range of indicator species and ecosystem services. 

  
  
• Mapping: Create, edit and assess data (from the above) to construct maps to help identify strengths and weaknesses in landscapes and plan actions to improve them for biodiversity and ecosystem services.
  

• Planning and guidance: Build reports, access relevant guidance, and develop actions plans to improve farmland ecosystems. 

The FEAST software has been designed to perform functions that range from those that are relatively simple, easy and quick to undertake to more complex tasks that require more time, effort and expertise. A range of videos have been created that show how to operate the tool, ranging from the basics through to the more complex functions. These are freely available to view on the support page of the FEAST website (see: https://sitem.herts.ac.uk/aeru/feast/support.htm).
